Dr. Cantor joined the Center for Psychology in 2021 as a postdoctoral psychology fellow. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rowan University, an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program in Glassboro, New Jersey. Dr. Cantor completed her APA and APPIC accredited internship at the Fargo VA Health Care System, where she worked with men and women with trauma focused or general mental health concerns.
Dr. Cantor has experience working with adults, including both young and older adults. She utilizes an integrative approach, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Overall, Dr. Cantor respects the importance of the relationship between provider and patient, and enjoys collaborating with her patients to identify an appropriate treatment plan.
