Dr. Marisa Bermudez is a postdoctoral psychology resident. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2017 from Immaculata University, an American
Psychological Association (APA) accredited program. Dr. Bermudez completed her APA and APPIC accredited internship at the Nebraska Internship Consortium for Professional Psychology, working in a community mental health setting with children, adults, and family.
Dr. Bermudez has experience working with children and adults with a variety of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, attachment disorders, as well as anxiety and mood disorders. Dr. Bermudez employs an integrative theoretical orientation, using a variety of techniques, including CBT, mindfulness, and an interpersonal process.
