Dr. AnLinh Bui

Dr. Bui has experience in working with children and adults with a variety of developmental and mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationships, and issues arising from cultural diversity.

 

Dr. Bui works with patients that experience various developmental life challenges and emotional

concerns, as well as working with patients from diverse backgrounds.

She provides a safe space for patients to explore their identity development and bring to light any underlying issues impacting their well-being.

Dr. Bui enjoys integrating different therapeutic modalities with a strength-based focused intervention through empowerment and transformation, including mindfulness and self-compassion.

Dr. Bui incorporates techniques from Culturally Responsive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CR-CBT), Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal, Multicultural, Time Limited Psychodynamic Therapy (TLPD) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Overall, she respects the importance of the relationship between provider and patient and collaborates with her patients to identify an appropriate treatment plan.

Dr. Bui joined the Center for Psychology in the Fall of 2023 as a postdoctoral psychology fellow.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the College of St. Benedict, Minnesota, and her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s University, an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Dr. Bui completed her APA and APPIC accredited internship at the University of South Florida Counseling Center, where she worked with college students with various issues, including, relationship difficulties, sexual-gender identities, academic pressure, family dynamics, life transitions, and mental health concerns. She also completed a summer external rotation at the Rogers Behavioral Health Center, Tampa, Florida, working with children and adolescents suffering from eating disorders and dietary issues.
